Framing built to the tolerance of the drawing.
Models, engineers, and pre-cuts the structural frame for the Sierra's most demanding custom homes — solved on the workstation, raised without guesswork.
Every AuerHaus frame begins as a full three-dimensional model, not a set of field assumptions. We carry that precision from the workstation to the job site, so what goes up matches what was drawn — on the first try.
Model
The full structural frame is built as a 3D model straight from the architect's drawing set, coordinated member by member before anything is ordered.
→Engineer
Connections, loads, and clashes are resolved on the workstation — where a mistake costs a keystroke, not a change order.
→Pre-Cut
Every member is cut to spec on CNC framing equipment and labeled for its exact position in the frame, down to the piece.
→Assemble
Crews raise a frame that was already solved — faster, straighter, and closer to the drawing than field-cut framing allows.
What we frame
Capability built around one idea: solve it in the model, not on the wall. Every service below runs through the same digital fabrication process.
Pre-Cut Framing
Complete structural packages cut off-site to exact spec, labeled, and delivered ready to stand — member by member.
CNC FabricatedHigh-End Residential Framing
Framing built to the standard a $2M–$10M home requires — square, true, and finished clean enough to build from.
Estate & CustomPrecision Timber & Structural Framing
Timber and structural systems executed to the tolerance the design calls for, not the tolerance field framing usually allows.
Joinery-GradeCustom Home Framing
Every custom home is a one-off structure. We treat the framing the same way — modeled and engineered for that house alone.
One-Off BuildsComplex Architectural Framing
Compound rooflines, cantilevers, curved walls, long-span glazing — the geometry most framers hand back to the architect.
Non-Standard GeometryConstruction Coordination
We work directly with architects, engineers, and general contractors from drawing set to frame-up, so nothing is lost in translation.
Full-Team FitDigital Modeling & CNC Fabrication
Every project is modeled in full 3D and cut on computer-controlled equipment — the same class of technology used to fabricate precision timber structures worldwide, applied here to Sierra Nevada homes. This is the layer underneath every service above.

Renderings shown are structural elevations generated from each project's model; on-site photography is added to a project's entry as it's completed.
Reno, Tahoe, and the range between.
AuerHaus is based in the Sierra Nevada and builds most of its projects across the Reno–Tahoe corridor — the region we know best. Because every frame is engineered and pre-cut before it leaves the shop, we're just as equipped to deliver and raise one anywhere across the Western U.S.

An engineering approach to framing
AuerHaus frames high-end homes the way they're designed — as a coordinated structural model, not a stack of lumber and best guesses. Every member is planned, engineered, and cut before a crew ever sets foot on site.
That approach comes out of digital fabrication, not traditional framing. We model the full structure in 3D and cut it on computer-controlled equipment — the same class of technology used to fabricate precision timber structures worldwide, applied here to Sierra Nevada homes. The result is a frame that goes up straighter, closer to plan, and with far less waste than a house framed by hand from a set of 2D drawings.
We're based in Reno–Tahoe and work directly with architects and builders throughout the region on the kind of homes where framing tolerance shows up in the finished product — long spans, compound rooflines, and structure that's meant to be seen, not just covered up. Because every frame is engineered and pre-cut before it leaves the shop, we take on the right projects across the Western U.S. as well.
